At the beginning, I decided on this word at the end of my conception. In fact, it was after so many times that I couldn’t think of it at all, and I couldn’t even think of it hard. One day, I suddenly remembered the spelling way of adding st to the i vowel, and then thought that it would be better to directly use the pronunciation of the two countries to piece together. formed this term.

Maybe there will be readers who think my naming method is sloppy. After all, I am not a linguist with excellent professional degree, and I have not seen many macro-length stories.

This is also the reason why I define this work as a completely overhead work, in order to hold my own profound or superficial ideas, and also to clearly express the ideas to be conveyed in the world view.

The direction of thinking at that time was to think in a direction that neither lost the original meaning nor overly complicated. Later, I remembered that the social and humanities of various races in my story setting have long been integrated, and I feel that there is no need to think so much. So I finally came up with such a word in a short period of time, combining the meaning of eating with one of the suffix roots.

Regarding the pronunciation of this word, I originally expected that the accented syllable in front should be pronounced in the same way as the Japanese pronunciation, because the word corresponding to that syllable represents the meaning of eating. But when I used Google Translate to see if the word already appeared, it showed a different pronunciation. In the end, I got two results, including the pronunciation I created.

The pronunciation of this word at that time was /ʻɡwɪˌst/, and the other was /ʻɡaɪˌst/. Although I personally prefer the pronunciation that I created, I don't really want to limit the pronunciation of this word. If you readers are wondering how to pronounce it, then I hope you don't have to be so rigid, and you can use both of the above pronunciations.
